As much as we encourage your pet to stretch out for complete orthopedic support, we understand that every pet is different. To get an idea of what size Pawpedic to choose for your pet, what is their sleeping style; do they prefer to curl up in a ball, or do they prefer to lay stretched out? Do your pets prefer to sleep together? Do they sleep with toys?

Whichever way is preferred, take a measuring tape and measure your pet in that preferred recumbency from nose to backside. Then simply account for any extra space you think that they may require - either for your other pet or their toys. You can then compare these measurements to our Specifications Page to choose their perfect Pawpedic!

Pawpedic Bed Covers: Our polyester Pawpedic Bed Covers are hand selected and manufactured in Poland.

Pawpedic Inner Bed Covers: The antimicrobial, microfilament inner cover is sourced from Germany. This cover is completely waterproof, anti-mite, breathable and eco-friendly.

Pawpedic Latex and Foam Layers: Additionally, the natural latex is sourced from Japan, and the human grade, orthopedic memory foam is sourced from China. We then manufacture three components together and test all of our products in Bejing with the best craftsmanship and independent quality control. The result? The best and only Australian designed, orthopedic pet bed at an affordable price – straight to your doorstep!

The Pawpedic Cover material has been selected and thoroughly tested because of its high tensile strength, its abrasive resistance, tear growth resistance, resistance to seam slippage and pilling resistance. The material is stain and pet hair resistant, meaning the hair will sit on top of the fabric instead of being embedded between fibres like most ped beds.

The Pawpedic Inner Cover material was selected due to it’s microfilament, isotropic innovation using patented technology; ensuring strength and dimensional stability.

Additionally, the latex and memory foam were both manufactured and tested to ensure that they will not lose their shape or uniformity, but instead mould to your pet’s individual, orthopedic requirements.

Please note: If your pet has a tendency to chew things, you may want to carefully consider whether the beds are right for them until they grow out of it. No pet bed is completely indestructible but we are currently working on the manufacture of a completely chew proof cover!

The Pawpedic Covers:

The Pawpedic covers are non-slip, washable and water repellent. The fabric protects against the rapid absorption of liquids which will instead condense on the surface of the material.

- Vacuum loose dirt and hair.
- Wipe with damp cloth or pet friendly wipes.
- Liquids condense on the surface of the material. 
- Use a soft cloth or paper towel to absorb liquid.
- Gentle warm machine wash on 'hand wash' setting or hand wash only (in-side-out). 
- Air dry only (in-side-out) - do not tumble dry.
- Steam to remove creases, do not iron.
- Do not use softener or bleach.

The Pawpedic Inner Covers:

The anti-microbial inner cover utilises patented technology to provide you with a completely waterproof material. This means you won’t have to worry about incontinence!

- Wipe with damp cloth or pet friendly wipes.
- Allow to air-dry. Do not tumble dry.
- Gentle warm machine wash on 'hand wash' setting or hand wash only.
- Do not use softener or bleach.

Just like humans, pets (especially mature pets) develop a preference to their sleeping regime. It may be difficult initially to encourage your pet to use any new bed; especially one that is so unlike others. If you are having trouble, you can start by using their favourite blanket and toys on the bed which will give the bed a familiar scent. Providing a blanket will not only encourage them to use the bed, but also encourage nesting; a natural, primitive animal behaviour. You can also reward them with their favourite treat each time that they sit or lay on the bed and give praise. If your pet is particularly anxious, you can try spraying Adaptil (for canines) or Feliway (for felines) on the cover to relieve stress and anxiety.

Generally, you can expect up to a few weeks before your pet becomes accustomed to any change in their environment.

When selecting our Pawpedics products, we have sourced materials with the least environmental impact in mind – less carbon emissions, water usage and textiles with long-lasting materials that help to reduce the impact of waste on our environment. No binders, solvents or PVC were used in the manufacturing process of our products.

We understand you’re so excited to receive your Pawpedic products, which is why we are committed to dispatching all orders and provide tracking within 24 hours of payment being received. Delivery time depends on your location and the shipping option, however is usually from 3-10 business days from the date of payment for Australian orders, and 7-14 days for International orders. If there is likely to be any delay with your order, we will inform you immediately.

Express shipping options are available for orders being delivered within Australia. A flat Express Courier shipping rate of $30 AUD is optional in checkout should you wish to have your order delivered sooner. We will select the between Couriers Please, Star Track and TNT to get your order to you as soon as possible.

Please note that if you have not received your parcel within the transit time estimate (as provided by Australia Post) please contact us via phone, email or livechat to have the issue escalated and investigated by our logistics team.

At this stage, we currently do not offer pick-ups but will soon! However, if an RSPCA event hosts us, we encourage you to come along with your furry friend and check out the products yourself!
